Creator Voice Notice

1. Voice setup is optional

You do not need a creator-voice profile to use ordinary VioCheck analysis. Voice setup is only needed if you want VioFix to replace approved spoken wording while keeping the correction sounding like you.

2. What you must confirm

Before creating a VioFix voice, you must confirm that the recording is your voice or that you have permission to use it, and that you consent to VioCheck creating and using a private voice profile for your VioFix corrections.

You must not enrol another person's voice without their clear authority or use VioFix to impersonate, deceive or misrepresent who is speaking.

3. What happens to the sample

Your selected recording is uploaded to private account storage. VioCheck validates the sample for duration and recording quality and may assess whether competing speakers or significant noise make the sample unsuitable.

When the sample passes validation, VioCheck sends the necessary audio to its configured creator-voice provider to create a private voice profile. VioCheck stores the returned provider voice reference against your account together with the consent record needed to operate the feature.

4. How the saved voice is used

The saved profile is used only when VioFix needs to generate replacement speech for the account that created it. Before a render containing synthetic speech is produced, VioCheck shows the proposed replacement wording and asks for explicit approval for that render.

VioCheck does not use the saved voice as an identity-verification system and does not make the voice profile public.

5. Provider processing

VioCheck currently uses ElevenLabs for creator-voice generation and speech synthesis. Requests are made from VioCheck's server; the ElevenLabs API key is not intentionally exposed in your browser.

Provider processing is also subject to the provider's own privacy and security practices. VioCheck limits the data sent to what is needed for the requested voice feature.

6. Deleting or replacing your voice

You can delete your saved VioFix voice from Account. When you do, VioCheck requests deletion of the provider voice and deactivates the saved profile so it can no longer be selected for future renders. Replacing a voice deletes the existing saved provider voice first, then lets you create a new one.

7. Your original content

VioFix does not change the source upload in place. A corrected render is created as a separate private file. The original spoken section being corrected is muted for the replacement timing window, and the authorised generated speech is inserted into the corrected render.

8. Training and unrelated use

VioCheck does not use creator uploads to train a VioCheck model. VioCheck does not intentionally repurpose your creator-voice profile for advertising, public voice libraries or unrelated users.

9. Privacy rights

Your creator-voice information is personal data and is handled under the VioCheck Privacy Notice. You can contact support@viocheck.co.uk about access, deletion, consent withdrawal or another privacy concern.
